Gazing subtle shadows of the winter sun
Sinking behind the distant trees
Wandering on the hazy farm road in the foreign land
Contemplating the meaning of my existence

It is odd, isn’t it, how one’s geographical location can affect one’s sense of meaning? Sometimes, the further away one is from one’s “natural surroundings,” the greater appears to be the significance. Whatever the distances, the adjustments to one’s sense of self – conscious or otherwise – can be very potent in their effect. In any event I am only extrapolating from myself. – I’ve been wondering when you guys would get some snow.

Love this picture. It looks really cold. Makes me want to do a painting of it.

Thank you NORBERT. It’s been cold especially today. Looking out the window wondering where the birds are hiding.
